here are some of the items that i'm simply lusting after, and places you can buy them!
the first is a highlighter that i seriously need to get my hands on. the company is going out of business, and if i don't snatch it up soon, it'll be gone forever! :(
then there is the ever-elusive contour shade.. i have the worst time finding something that isn't too warm toned for my pale skin. at the moment, i'm using Benefit's Box Blush in the the shade Dallas, but since it is meant to be a blush (very similar to NARS Sin, btw), it is just such a warm tone that i can't wear another blush with it. this product isn't available in the US right now, as it's sold out at Sephora, but i want it so badly!
lastly for the cheeks is a blush from Sephora. nothing fancy, but it's in a shade that i don't have much of in my makeup wardrobe, and the color is beautiful for winter!
moving on from cheek products to the eyes, i have three products that should be somewhat available to me, yet i haven't been able to find!
one of them is a mascara. i don't go crazy for mascara, usually, but lately i've really been trying out a lot of different formulations and brushes, and finding out exactly what i like. so.. i want this one!
next is an eyeshadow quad that is available in Target. every SINGLE time i venture into Target, i look for this quad. not once have i found it! #sofrustrating
then there is a brow kit that i'm very interested in. right now i'm extremely happy with my Benefit Brow-zings kit that i use every day, but i sort of want to change it up every now and again, y'know?
next, i'll talk about lip products, because there's actually just ONE! i know.. i don't know how it happened. i'm a lip girl, through and through, but i really think i'm quite pleased with my current collection.
the last bits of makeup are the most important! your base! i love the idea of a makeup range targeted specifically for pale skin, and dainty doll is the best out there!
and because i have under-eye bags that are more like suitcases, i need a heavy duty, color-correcting concealer in my life.
then we have the ever-present problem of keeping track of everything.. so i've decided that i want an organizer for my most used makeup and my brushes! i love this one because it's acrylic so everything is visible.
the last portion of this post is all about nail polish! i'll start off with two topcoats.. which essentially do the exact opposite thing.
this one is a holographic top coat, so it changes how your nail polish looks, and just generally makes it more amazing.
then there's the complete opposite of that one, which is a mattifying top coat. i'm not entirely sure if this one is the best one out there, but i found it and immediately wanted it.
the very last thing on my wantlist is something i've never ventured into. i used to have a girl in my class who would bring fake nails to school every day in like.. third grade, and glue them on. she made a huge mess every morning, and they just looked tacky and stupid. however, now there's a huge craze going on with the impress nails and the like, and i found these on etsy, and thought they were pretty awesome!
that's all for the makeup/nail portion of this, and soon i'll finish the body and perfume bits!
